Coach Yaw Preko is open to accepting calls from the management of Accra Hearts of Oak to take over their vacant coaching role.
Despite dismissing reports linking him to his former club as deputy trainer, the ex-Great Olympics boss has made himself available for the role ahead of the new season.
“I am ready because it is my job. If someone calls you for his job, you have to ask about what is good for him. if you can deliver then you can accept it but move on if you can’t deliver,” the Ghana U-15 coach told Ghanasportspage.com.
The former Ghanaian winger previously worked as assistant and caretaker coach for the Rainbows in 2016.
In October 2015, he became assistant manager under Kenichi Yatsuhashi before he was appointed as caretaker manager replacing Sergio Traguil.
Coach Yaw Preko is currently without any club since his exit from Accra Great Olympics in February.
With the 2023/24 season set to kick off in September, the Rainbows are expected to appoint a new trainer as replacement for Coach Slavko Matic, who left midway through last season.
