Nana Yaw Amponsah has finally submitted a report of his stewardship as Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko to the board.
It is learnt that the 12 twelve Directors of the Porcupine Warriors are currently meeting for a crunch tackle on crucial issues pertaining to the smooth running of the club for next season.
Meanwhile, Ghanasportspage.com just spotted Accra-based board members arriving for the meeting.
Nana Yaw was also spotted this morning arriving at the Kumasi airport and is currently meeting the board. It is unknown if his contract will be extended or made to finally leave.
The young football administrator is expected to answer some questions today. However, the board will have another meeting with the club’s patron, Otumfour Osei Tutu II this afternoon at Manhyia to submit the final report as ordered.
Nana Yaw Amponsah could leave the club after three years should Manhyia uphold the decision to dissolve the board.
The club is yet to address the public about the CEO’s exit, which dominated the headlines last week.
Under his leadership, Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League and secured numerous sponsorship deals, showcasing Amponsah’s ability to generate financial support for the team.
However, it seems that differences in communication and working relationships between the outgoing CEO and other board members have arisen over time.
