Newly-appointed Bechem United coach, Bismark Kobby Mensah has expressed happiness following his appointment as new gaffer of the Hunters.
The ex-Karela United trainer has sad he feels excited to be working with the core of the team ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
“I am happy about the fact that we [Kassim Mingle and Kobi Mensah] have similarities in our style of coaching. I am also fortunate to have inherited the good players Kassim Mingle worked with,” he told Onua Sports.
“I have also been told that the club is not ready to accept any offer for any of their players unless it comes from a foreign club. Thus I will most likely have the core of the team to build on,” he added.
Bismark Kobby-Mensah joined the club on a two-year deal after parting ways with Great Olympics.
The former Black Galaxies deputy coach replaces Kassim Mingle who left the club to join Nations FC.
He joined Olympics midway through last season after Yaw Preko was sacked and led the side to safety.
Kobby-Mensah is expected to touch down in Bechem by the end of the week and begin preseason as they prepare for the upcoming season.
