Bechem United striker, Hafiz Wontah Konkoni says top clubs from Egypt, Morocco and Europe have entered the race for his services ahead of the upcoming campain.
Konkoni, who also attracted interest from Accra Hearts of Oak has been linked with a move away from the Hunters following a successful last season.
The 24-year-old striker has proven himself in the local league as one of the best strikers. Having shined in the previous campaign, it appears he is ready for his next challenge.
He is the first local player to earn a call-up to the men’s senior national team since Chris Hughton took over as head coach after scoring 15 goals last season – three short of leading top scorer, Abednego Tetteh.
“I have received offers from other countries including Europe and Arab. Clubs from Egypt and Morocco are also showing interest,” Konkoni told Ghanasportspage.com.
Hafiz Konkoni has emerged as Hearts of Oak’s top target after the 2022/23 season but their first offer was rejected.
Despite this setback, the Rainbows are determined to get his signature of the striker to bolster their squad.
