Ghana Black Stars assistant coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has stated that former Black Stars manager, James Kwesi Appiah is one of the coaches he looked up to during his playing career.
The Black Galaxies boss disclosed while speaking about the appointment of the experienced tactician to lead the technical team of Asante Kotoko.
Coach Kwesi Appiah has been assigned a new role by His Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu ll at Asante Kotoko where he will forsee player recruitment.
His appointment follows the dissolution of the board and management of the club.
In an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, Coach Didi Dramani expressed Optimism about Otumfour’s decision and said the experienced tactician has the qualities of restoring the club’s success.
“You can’t say anything about Otumfour’s decision but we have to support him with prayers. Kwasi Appiah, who is also my senior brother is leading the technical team. He was my mentor during my playing years with Real Tamale United. I know him well. He will go far and will make the team a very good side.” he told ghanasportspage.com.
“He mentored me with Offei Ansah( late), Hesse Odamitten both of Hearts of Oak with Huge admiration then as a young player”.
