Former Ghanaian goalkeeper, Sani Mohammed has labeled Hon. Vincent Odotei Sowah as the biggest problem at Accra Hearts of Oak.
The club’s board member together with Alhaji Akambi have consistently faced criticism from the fans and some former players for the woes of the Phobians in recent years.
In an exclusive interview with Mothers FM, Sani Mohammed said the former GFA presidential aspirant failed as the club’s CEO years back despite helping the club to win the Ghana Premier League in 2008.
He, however, casted doubts about the capabilities of the ex-La Dade Kotokpon MP in leading the Rainbows.
“My problem at Hearts is Odotei because he failed when he was appointed as the club’s CEO in 2008. Things went wrong for us and finished 8th in the league that season.
“He made some promises but he failed to fulfill it. Our salaries were delayed. It can even take four to five months. They same person has come to Hearts of Oak again. You can’t expect Odotei to perform well,” Sani stated.
Vincent Odotei Sowah worked as Hearts of Oak’s Chief Executive Officer between 2007 and 2010.
His appointment broke the team’s long chain of interim-appointees after Harry Zakour’s exit. He has headed other teams in the past, including King Faisal and Heart of Lions.
