Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC have named former Hearts of oak and Black Stars Goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei as their new goalkeepers trainer ahead of the 2023/2023 season.
The appointment of Sammy Adjei was announced via the club’s Social Media handles.
Sammy Adjei, one of the best goalkeepers to have graced the Ghana Premier League is joining the Still Believe boys with a lot Experience to offer .
Adjei, nicknamed ‘Barthez’ was a member of the Glorious days of the Phobians in the early 2000’s where he guided them to win the Ghana Premier league on 6 consecutive times , the Caf Champions League trophy and the Caf Super Cup in 2000 and 2001 against Esperenace de Tunis and Zamalek of Egypt respectively.
Adjei, was a member of Ghana’s Senior men’s team the Black Stars that played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany..
Dreams FC will represent Ghana at the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup after winning the MTN FA Cup last season.
