Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have completed the signing of 19-year-old defender, Yahaya Dawuni in the ongoing transfer window, according to reports.
The Porcupine Warriors opened talks to sign the youngster following his remarkable performance with Susubiribi Football Club in the Access Bank Division One League.
Dawuni was on Premier League side, Bibiani Gold Stars radar but will play in the Ghanaian top-flight for the GPL record holders instead.
The Reds are aiming to strengthen their squad before the Premier League’s transfer window closes.
As per reports, the club are open to offloading eleven players including, Mohammed Alhassan and Maxwell Agyemang but will be making some significant signings to
revive their fortunes under new manager Prosper Narteh Ogum after failing to defend the Ghana Premier League last season.
The team will kick start their preparations for the upcoming season tomorrow at Beposo in the Ashanti Region.
