Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum says he will try to build a formidable team in his first year at Asante Kotoko SC.
The former WAFA boss has returned to the Porcupine Warriors for a second spell as replacement for Coach Seydou Zerbo.
During his previous tenure, Dr. Ogum, led the club to their first Ghana Premier League title since the 2013/14 season.
With an impressive record of 67 points from 34 games, his coaching prowess guided the Porcupine Warriors to victory over Medeama for the league title.
“My first year is to put together a very formidable team that can compete both domestically and internationally. However, you can’t be at Kotoko and not think of bringing success,” Coach Ogum said during his unveiling ceremony at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday.
The experienced tactician will start pre-season with the GPL giants on Tuesday, 8th August at Beposo in the Ashanti Region.
Kotoko finished fourth in the previous campaign and will be hoping to reclaim the GPL title next season.
