Gladson Awako is reportedly close to rejoining his old club, Great Olympics after parting ways with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Awako has reportedly agreed to part ways with the Phobians ahead of the commencement of the 2023/24 season despite having a year left on his current deal.
However, latest transfer reports indicate Great Olympics appear to be the next destination of the ex-Berekum Chelsea midfielder.
Awako spent two seasons with the the Dade Boys before he joined Hearts of Oak with Hearts of Oak.
He was outstanding in the 2020/21 season despite facing lots of doubts prior to the start and went on to contribute 13 goals for his club in the league, scoring 6 and providing 7 assists.
He went on to establish himself as an essential component for Hesrts, assisting the club to win the MTN FA Cup and the President Cup.
Awako saw limited playing time last season due to injury but will be hoping to improve if he joins his former club.
