Former Tamale City FC defender, Liventius Arthur says it is a great feeling to play for Accra Hearts of Oak.
The 21-year-old has started training with the club after signing a two-year deal that will keep him at the Phobians until 2025.
“It’s a great feeling and feel so excited to play for Accra Hearts of Oak, one of the biggest clubs in the continent. It’s really a great feeling,”
Why Hearts and not any other team? “Playing for one of the biggest clubs in the continent is a great feeling. It’s a privilege to play for Hearts of Oak. Hearts over any team,” he told the club’s media.
Arthur was signed by the Phobians from Tamale City FC after the 2022/23 season.
The 21-year-old left-back was one of the most sought-after defenders in the country following his swashbuckling performance with the Tamale Citizens last season.
He was outstanding for the Tamale Citizens despite the club’s demotion to the Division One League. He made 29 appearances in total with some impressive performances.
Arthur will provide competition for his former teammate at Ebusua Dwarfs Dennis Korsah next season.
