Ghana striker Jordan Ayew started the 2023/24 Premier League season with an assist for Crystal Palace who defeated Sheffield United on the road.
The Black Stars attacker set up Edouard Odsonne to score the only goal of the match.
Ayew has struggled to score plenty goals in the last few seasons but he has improved in other areas of the game such as work-rate and providing assistance to teammates to score.
The former Marseille forward has two assists in in his last six matches for Palace as he only boasts of a single goal in that run. The son of the great Abedi Ayew has now become more of a team player as Roy Hodgson is impressed with the Ghanaian.
