Former National Circles Council chairman of Asante Kotoko Kwaku Amponsah popularly known as “K5” says the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the club must be supported to succeed in Kumasi.
The ex-supporters chief is one of the ardent and passionate fans of the Porcupine Warriors and mostly heard on most Kotoko matters.
“”The IMC will only be successful if we all support them. They need our support , they need unity to excel. Without that we will come back to where we started” , Kwaku Amponsah said on Fox FM in Kumasi.
“That has always been our problem , the lack of unity in the club. Now the season is about the start and we must all come together to give them our massive support and I strongly hope that they will succeed.” , he added.
The Kotoko IMC is made of former player of the team Kwesi Appiah , current head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum , administrative and operations manager Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi and Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua who is the Kontomponiaferehene and a chartered accountant.
