Former Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has not applied to become the next head coach of Aduana FC contrary to earlier reports by a section of the Ghanaian media.
“We have received over 50 applications for the position of Head coach of Aduana which includes white coaches” , club spokesman Evans Oppong revealed on Space FM in Sunyani.
“I can confidently say that Samuel Boadu is not part of the applicants but that does not mean he cannot become our next head coach” , he added.
The Ogya Side parted ways with Samuel Kwasi Fabin after the team went trophy-less last season. The latter has since joined Legon Cities as head coach whilst the two-time Ghana champions are yet to name a replacement head coach.
Boadu has not returned to club management since he was sacked in September 2022 by the Phobians following a league draw against rivals Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
