Ghanasportspage.com’s biggest moment of the weekend by any Ghanaian international player in Europe’s leading leagues definitely happened at Anfield as Antoine Semenyo forced Alisson Becker to pick the ball from the back of his net in the 3rd minute.
The former Bristol City striker joined Bournemouth this summer and after making his first appearance for his new against West Ham United on August 5th , Semenyo scored perhaps the biggest goal of his career.
The 23-year old Black Stars attacker has scored goals across the Championship , the National League South , the League Two , the League One and for the Ghana national team but his latest strike at Anfield ranks high.
Even if his team were eventually defeated by Liverpool , this goal would remain one of the most memorable. Semenyo is clever in terms of rebounds as he fired in the opener with a fierce shot leaving the Brazilian goalkeeper with no choice.
