Black Stars midfielder Iddrisu Baba Mohammed made the move from RCD Mallorca to Almeria at the start of the current campaign after spending nine years with the former.
However , it has not been an ideal first two matches for Baba and his new team who finished 17th on the final league standings of the 2022/23 La Liga table.
Almeria lost at home to Rayo Vallecano on 11th August during the opening day of the season and on Saturday , the team of Baba Iddrisu were beaten at home again by Real Madrid as Jude Bellingham announced his presence in Spain with a powerful brace.
The Ghanaian started the match and lasted 90 minutes before going out in the second minute of injury time. So far , the 27-year old has started the first two games of the season for Almeria who travel to Cadiz CF on August 26th.
