Assistant coach of the Black Stars of Ghana Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has spoken about Ghana’s final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Central African Republic.
The match-day six encounter is slated for September 7th at the Babayara sports stadium and the Black Stas must win the game in order to qualify straight away to the AFCON finals to take place in Ivory Coast next year.
“We all know the importance of the match , the players themselves know how important this game is for us.” , Didi Dramani said on Fox FM.
“It is a game that we must represent ourselves very well and so you see Chris Hughton all over the place meeting and watching our players abroad. We are doing a lot of monitoring. We have many players , we talk to those who play and those who don’t even play so that we know why they did not feature for their teams. So we are focused and when the time comes , we will be able to present a very formidable team.” , the former Asante Kotoko head trainer added.
Ghana has not won the Africa Cup of Nations since their last one in 1982 as many Ghanaians expect Hughton and his team to qualify for the next edition of the competition and try to break the jinx.
