The transfer of Kofi Agbesimah from Bechem United to Hearts of Oak is set to be completed after the two teams agreed a fee for the respected center-back.
The 26-year old is expected to undergo a medical test on Wednesday and if it is successful , he will pen a two-year deal with the Phobians.
It is true that most people that matter at the Continental Club Masters are excited about the addition of this quality central defender , but there were some small amount of skepticism before the Phobians finally agreed to pay 70 000 Ghana Cedis to the Hunters to take their best defender of the last few seasons.
The Konadu Yiadom file was one that caused the skepticism. The former WAFA defender came to Hearts of Oak with a lot of hype but his performances within that short spell in Accra did not match the hype.
The defender who has been transferred to Ukrainian side Kryvbas FC failed to replicae his WAFA form at Hearts of Oak. However , according to information of Ghanasportspage.com , the Hearts leadership are hoping Agbesimah will do better than the last high-profile defender (Konadu Yiadom) to join the club.
The Hearts top officials are particularly excited about the consistency of the defender they are getting in the last few Ghana Premier League seasons as they back him to succeed.
