Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League side Kingsley Osei Bonsu (Lord Zico) has stuck his neck out ahead of the 2023 Ghana Football Association Elections as he backs incumbent GFA President Kurt Okraku to win the upcoming presidential elections.
Okraku and up against former vice-president of the association George Afriyie who have both been vetted.
“I believe in continuity and so I want Kurt Okraku to continue as GFA President. He has done well in the last four years and that is all that I can say. If I say Kurt did not do well , then it means I also did not do well as Executive Council member” , the Bechem United CEO said on Fox FM,
Osei Bonsu is also seeking re-election onto the GFA Executive Council and this is what he said :
“I believe I did well and that is why I am seeking re-election.” , he added.
The GFA elections are slated for September 27th in Tamale barring any last minute changes.
