Kofi Agbesimah is set to undergo his Hearts of Oak medical test and complete his transfer from Bechem United to the Phobians this week and Ghanasportspage.com has learned the details of this transfer operation.
The second most successful Ghana Premier League side have already signed a number of new players onto their first team and the arrival of Agbesimah is one particular transfer that excites everyone at Hearts of Oak.
First of all , the Phobians are doling out 70 000 Ghana Cedis to Bechem United to secure the signature of the highly-rated center back who played 33 matches out 34 in the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League.
Bechem initially wanted a transfer fee in the region of 150 , 000 Ghana Cedis but after the Phobians learned that the contract between Kofi Agbesimah and his team ends at the end of the next month , they were reluctant to pay such amount.
After days of negotiations , the two teams reached an agreement for the transfer of the defender at 70 000 Ghana Cedis.
Kofi is expected to sign a two-year deal with an option to extend for a further year.
