The use of Social media networks have become inevitable in the life of almost every person in the modern world.
Social media platforms such as Facebook , Twitter , Snapchat , Instagram , WhatsApp are used by both professionals and non-professionals , the employed and non-employed , women and men , children and adults but former Ghana striker Eric Bekoe insists professional footballers will struggle to be successful if they continue to spend much time on social media.
“This current Kotoko players should not rely on the training they will do with coach Ogum alone. I mean that two or three hours of training will not be enough for them to improve on their mistakes. That is why it is important for them to do their own training.
That is how they can succeed at Kotoko. They should work hard , sleep well and avoid spending much time on social media platforms.”
“One player can have Facebook , Twitter , Instagram , Snapchat accounts and he will be on all these networks everyday. How can you get enough rest in order to deliver as a player. They should not waste their precious time all the time on the social media because as a player you need enough rest all the time in order to be successful ” , the former Petrojet striker said on Fox Fm as monitored by Ghanasportspage.com.
