Bankroller of King Faisal FC , Alhaji Grusah , has revealed how he became a member of the Black Stars management committee.
According to the outspoken veteran football administrator , the Ghana Football Association did not help him in any way because his appointment was fully made possible by the government.
“How can Kurt help me?” , a livid Grusah quizzed on popular YouTube channel Kings TV GH Sports.
“I got the Black Stars management committee appointment through the government , not from the GFA. I am a politician” , the King Faisal owner added.
Grusah has not been on good terms with the Kurt Okraku-led GFA following the relegation of his team from the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League and has vowed to seek redress at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The appointment of the King Faisal owner was confirmed via a communique released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
“The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has appointed Vice President Mark Addo as Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee.
“Other Members of the Committee include Kwasi Agyemang – Vice Chairman, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah (Rtd.) and Alhaji Karim Grusah,” a statement from the GFA said.
Grusah was therefore part of the team at the last FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022.
