Accra Hearts Of Oakii right-back Samuel Inkoom has announced that his contract with the club ended today, 1st August 2023 and will not continue to renew the contract with the Phobians.

Former Asante Kotoko right-back Inkoom joined arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on April 8 2022. The 33-year-old Ghanaian international has had great form after a return to the local league and his contract with the Phobians runs out today, 31st August 2023 but the experienced defender does not extend his contract with the club.

This is a tremendous goodbye letter, as one would expect from Mr Inkoom posted on his Facebook, and Twitter page, as well as on Instagram.

“I am happy to inform you that today marks the end of my contract with Accra Hearts of Oak. I want to express my gratefulness to the Phobian family.

“I appreciate everyone who contributed to my success with Hearts of Oak. It has been a wonderful experience to be part of Hearts of Oak.

“I am very thankful to Togbe Afede XIV, the Board Members, the Technical team, the management, the players, and the Supporters for giving me the chance and for their full support to achieve my dream”. God bless you!

Thank you!
Phoooobiaa! Masters!

On his Twitter, he posted; I bow out of the Phobia family with pride and fulfilment, thanks to Torgbe Afede XIV and the Amazing family. Phooobia! Masters”.

Inkoom’s return has already created a legacy in the league, helping the Rainbows to win the President’s Cup and the MTN FA.
