Hearts of Oak defeated Vision FC 3-1 in a pre-season friendly at the All Nations University Park thanks to a hat trick from Cameroonian midfielder Albert Dieudonne Eonde.
Prior to the 2023–24 football season, the two teams are now in preseason in Koforidua, the capital of the Eastern Region.
Both teams got a lot out of the game, especially in the first half when neither team scored because both teams were being extremely cautious at the beginning.
But in the 49th minute, Albert Dieudonne Eonde broke the tie and gave Hearts of Oak the advantage. Later, Frank Otto scored on his own for Vision FC to tie the score.
The Phobians’ lead was subsequently doubled by another goal by Albert Eonde before converting from the penalty spot to make it 3-1, and that was how it finished at the end of regulation.
Hearts of Oak’s incredible unbeaten streak in the preseason continues as they have 33 goals and only 5 goals allowed in all seven games played so far.
Hearts Of Oak will take on RTU when the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League begin on September 15.
