The dream of several footballers to meet their idols and leaders of the game either comes to pass or not but for the young Ghanaian player Afirim Debrah Bossman, the dream is materializing early.
FIFA General Secretary Fatma Samoura has visited the Ghanaian striker Debrah Bossman at a hospital in Dubai after the player went under the knife for a recent injury.
Ghana’s U17 player Afirim Debrah Bossman, a player who has been touted to be a future Asamoah Gyan has been all smiles after being visited by FIFA General Secretary, Mrs Fatma Samoura in the United Arab Emirates.
The player was successfully operated on at a Hospital in Dubai and he has been seen with his father and the medical team chatting happily after the surgery, with his family and national team Medical head Doctor Pamboe around him.
But little did he know that his luck was about to shine again when the FIFA boss paid him a surprise visit to wish him a speedy recovery and all the best in his career.
The Senegalese woman was excited Bossman was well and urged him to be hopeful as he’s got a big career ahead of him.
Bossman was part of the Starlets team that recently made Ghana proud in Europe by winning a tournament, after beating Switzerland 3-2. Debrah Bossman and Asumadu Ramzy scored the goals for Ghana.
Bossman who just completed Kumasi Anglican Senior High School kept rising and reported to be on the books of some Portuguese and French clubs, until his injury which necessitated surgery in Dubai. He is expected to return home this week to continue his recovery.
