Talented Ghana defender Mohammed Fuseini has joined Iraqi football side Alsinaat Alkahrabaita SC from Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano.
The tough-tackling center-back skippered Bofoakwa Tano in the National Division One League Zone One to qualify for the elite Ghanaian championship. He was also captain of the team as they lifted the 2023 Division One League Super Cup in Abrankese.
“We officially confirm that our captain Fuseini has been transferred to Alsinaat Alkahrabaita S.C in IRAQ after a non Financial Agreement was met.We thank him for his years of selfless service to this Great club and wish him well.” , the club wrote on their Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Fuseini was the longest-serving player of the Sunyani-based side currently and his departure represents a huge loss.
However , head coach Frimpong Manso has seen the arrivals of defenders Kelvin Oppong , Andrews Appau who rejoined his former side after leaving Asante Kotoko.
