Asante Kotoko will play as a guest to Bibiani Gold Stars on Saturday afternoon of the 2023/2024 BetPawa Premier League Matchday 2 at Dun’s Park in Bibiani.
Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side received a massive boost within the week following the return of duo Steven Dese Mukwala, who was injured, and Rocky Dwamena, who was away due to his involvement in the 2023 WASSCE examination.
The second deputy captain of the side, Richmond Lamptey, who missed the season’s opener against Kpando Hearts of Lions returned to training but he was still not fit for the game as he held personal training sessions. Justice Blay Blay will also miss the game due to injury. Justice started personal gymnastics last week.
Kotoko will be hoping to pick their first three points of the season after drawing with Kpando Heart of Lions at home. But the Miners also lost [2-0] to Berekum Chelsea in their first fixture last weekend.
