Ghanasportspage.com has done thorough research to come out with the highest and lowest-paid footballers of Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea.
Berekum Chelsea used to be one of the richest clubs in the Ghana Premier League as they were able to assemble some of the best soccer talents in the country thanks to their deep pocket. The Blues won the 2011 Ghanaian championship and went ahead to surprise many people by reaching the group stages of the 2012 CAF Champions League.
However, the situation has changed and now Chelsea does not offer the best salaries to their players following the departure of their rich owner.
For the 2023/24 season, the highest-paid player at the Berekum-based side is captain Zakaria Fuseini who is on 1500 GHC a month’s salary.
The majority of the first team squad who are all senior players take 500 GHC every month whilst the rest of the players pocket 400 GHC.
As of today, 30th September 2023, the lowest and highest-paid players at Berekum Chelsea’s currency rate is equivalent to $34.50 and $130.00 respectively.
