Members of the newly elected Executive Council have been sworn into office for a four-year mandate. The Swearing in ceremony took place at the first meeting held on Monday, October 9, 2023 but Asante Kotoko IMC member James Kwesi Appiah was absent.
Present at the meeting were President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Mark Addo, Dr. Ransford Abbey, Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Frederick Acheampong, Nana Sarfo Oduro, Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah, Eugene Nobel Amon Noel and Gideon Fosu.
The Members signed the Oath of Office and the Oath of Confidentially. James Kwesi Appiah was absent with permission of the GFA President.
Appiah and his backroom staff that includes former Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and former Dreams FC , Eleven Wonders head coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu as goalkeepers trainer and assistant coach in that order , laned in Saudi Arabia to formally start work with the Sudanese national soccer team.
The Kotoko IMC member will be sworn into office on a later date.
