Martin Koopman’s 22-man squad for FC Samartex 1996 clash on Saturday [3- key players excluded]

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Martin Koopman has named a 22-man squad for their game against FC Samartex 1996 on Saturday, 21st October 2023 a the Accra Sports Stadium.

BetPawa Premier League 2023/24 enters match week 6 this weekend and Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome FC Samartex 1996 on Saturday at 3:00 PM local time.

The Phobians are winless in their last two Premier League games and their Week Five league match against Heart of Lions was postponed over the weekend due to the spillage of the Akosombo dam that has left many parts of the Volta region flooded.

FC Samartex 1996 has won only away games since their betPawa Premier League debut in the 2022/23 season. Samartex FC have played 19 matches, won 2, drew 5 and lost 12.

Coach Martin will enter the game without Eric Ofori Antwi, David Oppong and Amankwah Baafi due to injury. Obeng Kwadwo Jnr has not been training throughout the week and his problem of the inability to feature for the Phobians are not known.

New goalkeeper Osei Kojo Bonsu has been training with the Phobians since Eric Ofori got injured. Ghanasportspage.com can confirm that Kojo Bonsu may not include Martins’s squad to face FC Samartex on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Glid Otanga, Albert Eonde, and Evans Adomako could replace the injured players.

Martin hopes to secure the three maximum points from Samartex to cool down the fans of Accra Hearts Of Oak and to secure his job too.
