2021/22 Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko trek to Abrankese as guests of Nations FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, 23rd October 2023.

Coach Nartey Ogum has named a 22-man squad for this encounter. In his squad, there are two goalkeepers, six defenders, 10 midfielders and two strikers.

Ogun’s side will face Nations FC without two STRONG MIDFIELDERS, Justice Blay and Enock Morrison. According to our deep check, the abovementioned players are strong and fit without any injuries. Meanwhile, Ogum has introduced Rockey Dwamena and Baba Yahaya.

Nations FC have won one, lost two and drawn one – with their only win coming against FC Samartex at home. The new boys are 14th in the Premier League table with four points and are winless in their last two games.

They go into the match against an Asante Kotoko side that seems to have discovered their winning formula under Dr. Prosper Narteh-Ogum.

The Porcupines have won two consecutive games after their lacklustre start to the season. The Reds have also drawn two, won two and lost one in their last five matches and sit in 5th place with 8 points after 5 matchdays.

Asante Kotoko have played 7 times against newly promoted sides on the road since 2021/22 and has won 3 games with 1 defeat and 3 draws coming of  9 goals scored and 6 conceded.
