Accra Lions suffered yet another home defeat in the betPawa Premier League after a 3-1 loss to Real Tamale United at the Accra Sports stadium on Friday.
“It’s very unfortunate for us. We have played three games here and zero points. That is very bad for us. But we are a young team and we have to keep on working and hope that we find a win soon.
“We are a young team. We have to continue working and definitely better times will come. I will talk to the players, we will watch the videos, and correct our mistakes. That’s the best way to go,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko said.
Lions have now lost three games in a row with all defeats happening at the same venue ; the Accra sports stadium.
Asante Kotoko claimed a 1-0 victory against Tanko’s side in the capital on 9th October , Great Olympics run riot by 3-0 against them on 16th October before Real Tamale United dispatched Lions by 3-1 on Friday 20th October.
