The brands manager of Ghana champions Medeama SC has reacted to the decision of CAF to prohibit the Yellow and Mauves from using the Cape Coast stadium for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League group stages.
Medeama’s initial hope of getting the Tarkwa stadium ready to play their home games of the group stages was dashed as the stadium is still under construction and the alternative of the Cape Coast stadium has also been rejected by the CAF inspection team.
“We will wait for the official report and then see the next step. I think the GFA will be notified first , then the NSA before it gets to us. Imagine if the Babayara stadium was not there , so what will we have done in this instance” , Ebenezer Aidoo quizzed on Kessben TV.
“So the alternative is that we have to come to Babayara. ” , he added.
