Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah Appiah will compete for the 2023 CAF Young player of the award against nine other African talents at the 2023 CAF Awards to take place on 11th December , 2023.
Nuamah , who currently plays for Olympique Lyon, has been on fine form for club and country since the start of last season. The Ghanaian was voted the best player of the Danish league last season before Lyon came for him this summer.
Dango Ouattara and Souleymane Alio of Burkina Faso , Abedssamad Ezzalzouli and Bilal El Khannouss of Morocco , Nigeria’s Gift Orban and Senegal quartet of Lamine Camara , Papa Amadou Diallo , Pape Diop and Amara Diouf complete the ten-man shortlist.
