Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has talked about the 2023/24 season of his former club Asante Kotoko as the Porcupine Warriors gets ready to take on Nsoatreman FC for their Week 8 fixture on Thursday.
“I have watched all the Kotoko games this season and I think the coach is building a team for the future. He has a young team and they have a team. What they have to do is to stay together as a team and create a team spirit.” , Samuel Inkoom said on Kumasi-based Fox FM.
The former Hearts of Oak defender continued :
“Most of the players do not understand the team Kotoko that they are playing for. The team is for the great Asantehene and so the players need to ask more about the team they are playing for. They need to serve. Kotoko is an institution that we come to serve wholeheartedly and this is what they must know. After serving well , the blessing of Asanteman will also follow them wherever they go. But I think the coaches , the board or those in charge are doing well.” , he added.
