Dreams FC deputy coach, Winfred Dormon has revealed the plans of the club ahead of their opening game against Club Africain.
Having defied all odds to make the group stage in their debut African campaign following their MTN FA Cup triumph last season, the Still Believe ladswill start their journey against Tunisian side, Club Africain on November 26th at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.
Speaking about the team’s preparations and plans for the competition, Coach Dormon said: “We’ve written an interesting story and we’ve qualified to the money zone in our maiden appearance but we are not going rest on that laurels.
“We want to make sure the that we will raise a very strong team against Club Africain on November 26th and make sure that we will do very well in the group stage but we will take it one after the other,” he told Mothers FM.
The MTN FA Cup holders will also compete against Nigerian side Rivers United and APC Lobito of Angola.
The group phase of the Confederation Cup will begin on Sunday, November 26, 2023, through to March 3, 2024.
