The Chief Executive Officer of Ghanasportspage.com, Martin Tawiah, has officially entered into a partnership agreement with S-Inkoom Football Management Agency as a scouting agent.
Thanks to his decade-long experience as a journalist, a football scout and his strong connection in the international market, Tawiah who is based in China, is definitely a vital addition to the agency of the former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom that was launched in Accra last month.
Under the agreement which takes effect from November 6th of the year 2023, the GSP1 CEO is expected to scout very talented young footballers and refer them to Inkoom’s agency for potential representation and management. The former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak player decided to go into the FIFA intermediary job after playing the best part of his soccer career in Europe.
Inkoom was a key part of the Black Stars squad that reached the quarter-final stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup as he now joins forces with Martin Tawiah to offer more opportunities to Ghanaian footballers.
“I am so happy to join S-Inkoom Football Management Agency. I am coming in to work hard with the team to scout the best young talents in Ghana and across the globe. We want to scout for the best players for the agency who will also go on to join our national team in the future to make it powerful. I mean the U17, the U20s and the Black Stars. So this is my main objective of joining the Samuel Inkoom agency.”, Martin Tawiah told Ghanasportspage.com on Wednesday.
In August this year, the fast-rising Tawiah was appointed as the international relations officer and head of the media team of Ghana National Division One side Northern City FC. He is also the communications officer of Asante Kotoko Circle 0086 in China.
The GSP1 Media CEO is a football, and to a larger extend sports enthusiast who has followed Ghana football for years throughout his career as a sports broadcaster. He has formerly worked sports broadcaster at Success FM (90.9) in Goaso and later joined Fox 97.9 FM in Kumasi before moving to China where he has been a professional English Teacher in addition to his broadcasting works through his own media channel, GSP1.
