Accra Hearts of Oak and Legon Cities drew 0-0 on matchday 10 of the Betpawa Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts, who drew goalless with Heart of Lions before Sunday’s game were hoping to get back to winning ways for the celebration of their 112th anniversary but their attack failed to fire again as they were held to a goalless draw by their city rivals – the third Premier League game in a row in which the Rainbows have failed to pick victory.
Prior to the game the home side were under pressure to deliver the three points following their back to back draws with Karela United and Heart of Lions.
Legon Cities also entered the game with straight defeats to Samartex and Medeama SC.
The result at the Accra Sports Stadium leaves Hearts of Oak at the 11th position, Legon Cities at the 12th position – both on 12 pointa after ten games.
The Rainbows will next face another city rivals, Accra Lions on week 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium, while Legon Cities make the trip to face Berekum Chelsea.
