Asante Kotoko were defeated at FC Samartex on Saturday in a Week 10 Ghana Premier League match as Emmanuel Keyekeh netted the only goal of the game with a sumptuous freekick.
The defeat was the third in a row for the team of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as Kotoko are placed 16th on the league standings after ten games.
Already the Porcupine Warriors have lost three successive league games for the first time since the 2010/11 season and if the team picks another defeat against Medeama on Week 11 , then Ogum and his charges would completely equal the worst run of results in the club’s history since November 2011 when Ebo Mends was in charge.
Bogdan Korac arrived from Serbia to take over from Mends as Kotoko lost four games in a row in the league against King Faisal , Hearts of Oak , Aduana FC and New Edubiase United.
