Former Accra Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak winger Joseph Tagoe has mentioned the money he was taking as monthly salary during his time at the Wonder Club.
Tagoe shot into prominence in the Ghana Premier League in the early 2000’s as one of the best young footballers in the country. His consistent good displays for Olympics earned him a big move to Hearts of Oak.
“When I went to Olympics , they told me this is a stepping stone in my career and so they gave me 500 GHC as signing-on fees for a three-year contract and my salary was 70 GHC” , Joe Tagoe revealed to freelancer Linus Siaw Lartey.
