Hearts of Oak board member , Mr. Frank Nelson Nwokolo , has talked about the sacking of head coach Martin Koopman and has discussed how the Phpbians are going to replace the Dutch coach.
Koopman and Hearts of Oak mutually parted way last Tuesday following a home league draw against Legon Cities , a result that left Hearts at the 11th position on the Ghana Premier League table after ten games.
“In sacking the coach , we did our analysis and decided the best decision is not to continue with the coach. ” , Frank Nelson told Fox FM in Kumasi.
When the Hearts of Oak shareholder was quizzed if they will name a local coach to replace Martinus Koopman , he responded :
“In hiring a coach we consider many things. Certain times it is good to go with a local coach and at other times , a foreign coach is ideal and so we will look at our situation and decide”, he explained.
