After being made to keep the posts again by Prosper Ogum, Frederick Asare of Kotoko has reiterated the perception by many that Asante Kotoko boasts of the most competent and best goalkeepers of all clubs in the country.
Asare started the season as the number one of Kotoko but lost pit to Danlad Ibrahim who is the captain of the club . It was until yesterday against Medeama that Asare was reinstated in the posts .
The goalkeeper led Kotoko to victory, kept a clean sheet and afterward proclaimed that it is no doubt that continuously over the years always boasts of the best goalkeepers.
Asked what’s happening as the coach keeps rotating between him and Danlad, Asare gave competition as the reason explaining whoever is in posts has the support of the other goalkeepers and that whenever Kotoko concedes goals, the others don’t rejoice but are troubled as they keep training to correct their mistakes.
