Asante Kotoko defender, Henry Ansu, has debunked that Kotoko’s away shirts had dye stains in them due to the players sweating during their game against Legon Cities on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Images of the reddish stains in the shirts of Ansu have gone viral with many claiming that the jersey is not authentic and as a result, has dye stains from the red designs on the shirt.
In a brief chat with a die-heart supporter, Dayan Akonto which was monitored by GhanaSportspage.com, the former Berekum Chelsea man clarified that he sat in a Hibiscus juice, locally known as Sobolo during half-time, which stained his pants.
In the game, Kotoko came from a goal down to win 3-1 to record back-to-back victories.
