Asante Kotoko striker, Stephen Mukwala has iOS certain that he will be on the scoresheet often due to his current form.
The Ugandan netted a brace in Kotoko’s win over Nations FC in the MTN FA Cup round 64 tie.
Speaking after the game, he explained that scoring builds his confidence and that he is hopeful about scoring more.
“It (scoring goals) builds my confidence as a player so I believe I’m going to score more and my confidence is coming so I believe I will give my best,” Mukwala told Asante Kotoko media team.
Steven Mukwala has scored three goals in his last two games.
His brace on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 inspired Kotoko to a 4-2 win over Nations FC.
The Porcupineares, following the win, have progressed to the round 32 stage of the league cup.
