Rivers United player, Samuel Adom Antwi, I has side his side have set sight on beating Dreams FC in the 2023/24 CAF Confederations on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
The two sides will square off for their second groups stage game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Antwi, who faced Dreams FC during his time at King Faisal, stated that Rivers are fixated on amassing all three points in the away fixture.
“I’ve played against them and know them. We are coming to win in Ghana because that’s our mentality. I will be hoping to score in Ghana and seal it with a victory.”
Speaking on his adaption in Nigeria, he said his Ghanaian colleagues at the club have made adaptation easier for him.
“The atmosphere in camp is very positive. I met Ghanaians in the club who have made my adaptation very easy,” he remarked.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Rivers United. He joined the side at the start of the 2022/2023 season and played a key role in the Port Harcourt-based club’s qualification to the CAF Confederations Cup group stage.
Rivera United currently lead the group after beating Academica Lobotica 3-0.
Dreams, on the other hand, lost 2-0 to Club African.
