Black Stars striker, Inaki Williams was on the scoresheet yet again as Athelic Club beat Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Inaki, who is on form, scored Athletic Club’s third goal in a 4-0 win at the San Mamés.
The goal was Williams’ second in a row after scoring the equalizer for the Basque club in their 1-1 draw against Girona.
Before getting on the scoresheet, Inaki forced an own goal to extend the home side’s lead to 2-0 after his low cross took a deflection and went in.
The 29-year-old has taken his tally to seven goals and three assists in 15 games.
He has now scored the same goals as Robert Lewandowski and Alvaro Morata on the La Liga top scorer’s list.
The win sends Athletic Club to fifth place on the league table with 28 points.
