The Reds are now seventh in the Premier League and three points Hearts, who occupy seventh position after 13 games.
Berekum Chelsea had gone unbeaten in their last five games before today’s defeat.
Kotoko are back in Premier League action at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday when they go in search of a fifth straight win against Hearts of Oak.
