Former Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman has said the club’s board members lack personality.
He explained that the board members do what the executive board chairman Togbe Afede XI says without questioning.
His assertion adds to his claim that the board told him not to use seven players.
Speaking with ghanasportspage.com, he mentioned that Togbe, particularly, made the calls regarding the players to use and who not to use.
“It’s of course with Togbe. He starts to talk about that and the other ones follow…They are like parrots. You should have your own personality.” Martin Koopman told ghanasportspage.com.
He urged the fans to vote new board members into power in their next general assembly.
“I think in February, they have an election again so I think if they want to make steps forward (they should vote for different people). They are sleeping now. Hearts of Oak is sleeping now. And all the other clubs I know because I’ve seen them play, they are making steps forward.”
Martin Koopman was in charge of the Phobians for three months. During the period he managed only two wins in ten matches.
