11 local-based players have been named in the Black Stars’ 55-man provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
In a list published by former GFA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie Daara, five Medeama players, one Asante Kotoko player, two Great Olympics players, and two Dreams FC players made the list.
The 2023 AFCON is set to start on January 13 to February 11, 2024. Ghana have been paired with Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde in Group B.
