Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have parted ways with twelve players, due to poor performance.
The Tamale based have reportedly released twelve players including talented wingers Richard Berko and Ishmeal Nketsiah.
Other ‘notable’ affected players are midfielder Mathew Adansi and forward Stephen Akani who’s currently training with Atwe Nzema Kotoko.
Other players are Bashiru Abdul, Joshua Addai, Muntari Shafiq, Shuraj Ishak
Oshe Mamoud, Abdul Rahman Fuseini and Haruna Ganew.
The above players will not be with the club for the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
However there are other three (3) players who are under consideration by the technical team as whether their contracts too will be terminated or not.
The affected players were notified of the changes via a letter informing them that the club will not require their services.
Karela United are currently 15th on the league log in the 2023/2024 season with 15 points after 14 games.
